The birthday week has been packed! First off I went to a workshop with Kintsugi master, Mizuyo and learnt how to repair ceramics with a natural lacquer paste. The studios are located in Hackney at the top of an old industrial building and the views were amazing. I left on a high and headed to Slone Square to the Magnum Pleasure Store to make myself a custom ice cream. A quick tour of the Saatchi art gallery and then huge dinner at my favourite Wahaca.
For the beginning of the week I stayed at Elmley Nature Reserve at The Nature Sessions taking some time out to reflect on my life and learning some new skills. It was a lovely, supportive environment and I made a lot of new friends. If you are thinking about making some time for yourself in whatever form you can I highly recommend it. I’ve come away with a new resolve and focus on what I want for my life and how I would like to achieve it.

I’m currently giving this tip out a lot. If your phone is low on charge and you have 20minutes put it on flight mode. You will find it nearly charged within this time with all your apps cut off from the real world!

I didn’t know I needed a Rose Gold Fan until I saw this on Next’s website!
Watching episodes of Escape to the Chateau is making me want to find my own bolt hole to hanker down in.
Have a lovely weekend. What are you up to? PF xo
