T and I love a voucher and this one was no exception. Two for One on The Great British Tours Cupcake and Macaron Tour!!
Not only are you take to eight different tasting locations but you get to try lots of different types of cupcakes and macarons which means you come away with your favourites.
The tour starts in Convent Garden and we were lucky to have great weather as you go through many streets which makes the eating well balanced!
You can see for yourself where you go so I will only tell you about my most favourite place. To be honest I don’t like macoron’s despite their many French qualities. Lots of the ones we tried were very sweet and it was clear that this has been done for the British sweet tooth.
Trust me, if you also do not like macoron’s the ones from Yauatcha will change your mind. This Michellin star chef is known for his Dim Sum but he also decided to play around with macoron’s. He changes the flavours all the time and we had a choice of jaffa cake, bubblegum and popcorn.
The one above is Lavander flavour, below is jaffa cake.
The flavour is just as intense as the colour and you can just pop in for these and other crazy desserts rather then going to the restaurant. Can you see the apples below?
The tour was fantastic and about halfway through you start to get everything in boxes because trust me there will be no room in your tum for any more! This would be perfect for the start of a hen’s party or girls day out.
